Important: How Your Tadakado Balance Works
Before you head out to use your voucher, there are a few balance-related terms worth understanding clearly.
1. Your balance cannot be converted to cash
Tadakado balance is strictly for transactions and gift redemptions. It cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash under any circumstances.
2. Unspent balance is forfeited; not refunded
If your transaction total is less than your voucher value, the remaining balance will not be returned. For example, if you have a Rp100,000 voucher and spend Rp90,000 at a partner merchant, the remaining Rp10,000 is forfeited. It won't carry over to a new transaction.
With that in mind, it's worth planning your purchases so that your spending is as close to; or slightly above, your voucher value.
3. If your purchase exceeds your voucher value, you can pay the difference separately
There's no issue if your total comes out higher than your voucher balance. The shortfall can simply be covered with cash, debit, or any other accepted payment method at the merchant. For instance, a Rp100,000 voucher used toward a Rp110,000 transaction just means paying the Rp10,000 difference through another method.
